Possibilities abound as Smarr Custom Homes Teams up with the Mid-Missouri Ronald McDonald House!
Smarr Custom Homes is proud to present a 3,000+ square foot home in the Spring Creek subdivision in southwest Columbia. The home serves as a consumer education experience as well as a platform for special fundraising events benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri.
“The Home of Possibilities will give consumers the hands-on opportunity to see that a custom home built to fit their needs can be beautiful, comfortable and efficient” said SCH owner, Rusty Smarr. “People see new products on home shows and online but it’s difficult for them to tell if they’re a possibility in their own home. This home gives them the chance to investigate, first-hand.
Some of the home’s features include energy savvy framing products, high-efficiency HVAC solutions, and innovative home technology from appliances to home entertainment. Free, informational seminars will be presnted by industry experts covering a variety of topics.
The Home of Possibilities is educational and philanthropic. “Giving back to the community is important to us,” said Rusty. “My Dad built the first Ronald McDonald House in 1983, so teaming up with them now seemed natural.” Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri will benefit from a variety of events at the home as well as contributions from Smarr Custom Homes.
The home was held open on Sundays from May 6 to June 24, 2012. THE HOME IS NOW CLOSED to the public and has been sold. Smarr Custom Homes specializes in custom residential construction .
